Ice Safari: Bella Coola

The Bella Coola valley on the west coast of British Columbia offers a mind boggling spectrum of largely unclimbed ice. While basing ourselves out of a lodge in this beautiful rural community we’ll embark on daily adventures into the local mountains. First selecting and scouting some amazing new routes then planning, climbing and finally naming them.  A trip may even necessitate an article in the Canadian Alpine Journal!

If you’ve ever been interested in discovering new climbs, exploring new areas and getting your name in the guidebook then this is the trip for you. From technical multi-pitch mega-classics, to long fun and easy rambles, this place has it all. Trip dates and lengths can be finessed to meet individual schedule requirements and some flexibility may be needed to ensure that we capture the right weather.
